    Itinerary

    Day 1Arrival and Discovery of Marrakech

    Today you will enjoy a guided visit of Marrakech, exploring the city most important landmarks and historic sites. Highlights include the lively Jamma el Fna square, the Koutoubia Mosque, traditional souks, palaces, and museums. You will also discover modern and green areas such as Gueliz, the Menara Gardens, and the Majorelle Garden. After lunch at a local restaurant, the rest of the day is free to explore the city at your own pace.

    Day 2Marrakech Ait Benhaddou Ouarzazate Dades Gorge

    The journey begins with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass. Along the way, you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, well known for its role in films such as Gladiator and the Game of Thrones series. The tour continues to Ouarzazate, where you will visit the Atlas Film Studios and a historic kasbah in the city. From there, you travel through the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual rose festival, before reaching Dades Gorge for an overnight stay in a hotel or riad.

    day 3Dades Gorge, Todra Gorge, Erfoud, and Merzouga Sahara Desert

    After breakfast, the tour continues to Todra Gorge, a striking canyon popular with nature lovers and climbers. You then travel through the Ziz Valley toward Erfoud, an oasis town known as the gateway to the Sahara and famous for its fossil workshops. Here, you may visit a local fossil factory and shop offering handmade decorative items and souvenirs. The journey continues to Rissani to explore its traditional souk before heading toward Merzouga. At the desert entrance, you leave the vehicle and begin a camel trek across the golden dunes, guided by experienced camel handlers. Upon arrival at the desert camp, you will spend the night in traditional Berber tents. The evening includes a traditional dinner under the stars, followed by local music around the campfire.

    day 4Merzouga Desert Exploration

    This day is dedicated to discovering the Merzouga desert. You are free to enjoy activities such as camel trekking or exploring the dunes by 4×4 vehicle. The tour also includes a visit to Khamlia village, known for its traditional Gnawa music. In the evening, you will admire a beautiful sunset over the Sahara dunes. Overnight stay will be at a small riad or hotel.

    day 5Merzouga to Midelt

    After breakfast, you will drive past Rissani and Erfoud toward Midelt, located in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Lunch will be in Midelt, followed by free time to explore the town or relax at your hotel, where you will spend the night.

     

    Day 6 Midelt to Fes via Middle Atlas

    Today you continue the journey through the Middle Atlas region. A stop is planned in Azrou to visit the cedar forest and possibly see the wild monkeys living there. The route then passes through Ifrane, known for its alpine style architecture, before continuing to Fes. Overnight stay will be at a local hotel.

    Day 7 Guided Tour of Fes

    Today you will explore Fes, the oldest imperial city in Morocco. The guided tour includes walks through narrow streets and historic alleys, visits to the Royal Palace gate and the Jewish quarter, and other cultural and historical landmarks such as Al Qaraouine University, the traditional tanneries, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. The afternoon is free to explore the medina before dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in a riad or hotel in Fes.

    Day 8 Fes to Chefchaouen

    After breakfast, you travel from Fes to Chefchaouen, a charming town nestled in the Rif Mountains. Upon arrival, you will explore the blue painted medina and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Overnight stay will be at a local riad or hotel.

    Day 9 Chefchaouen, Rabat, and Casablanca

    After breakfast and some free time in Chefchaouen, you drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. There, you will visit the main attractions and historic sites of the city, with time for lunch. The journey then continues to Casablanca, where you will spend the night.

    Day 10 Casablanca to Marrakech

    Today you explore Casablanca main landmarks, including a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will drive back to Marrakech, marking the end of the tour.
