3 Hours Before Flight Time
Start your private tour with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi-n-Tichka Pass (2260m). Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a historic fortified village featured in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate to explore Atlas Film Studios and a local kasbah, then drive through the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual festival. Spend the night in Dades Gorge at a local hotel with the option of a complimentary dinner.
After breakfast, travel by 4×4 through scenic Berber villages to Todra Gorge, a striking canyon popular with climbers and nature lovers. Continue through Ziz Valley to Erfoud, known as the gateway to the Sahara and for its unique fossils. Visit a local artisan factory and shop for souvenirs. Proceed to Rissani to explore the local souk before heading to Merzouga, where you will stay overnight in a local riad.
Spend the day exploring the Sahara Desert at your own pace. Options include camel trekking or 4×4 excursions, along with a visit to Khamlia village, famous for traditional music. Enjoy the magical sunset behind the Erg Chebbi dunes and a night of local Berber music and traditional cuisine around a desert campfire.
Wake early to catch the sunrise over the desert dunes and return by camel to the hotel for breakfast. Drive past Rissani and Erfoud, stopping in Midelt in the Atlas Mountains for lunch. Continue the journey to Fes, where your private tour concludes.
