Itinerary

Day 1Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Your 11-day Morocco tour from Tangier begins with pickup from your accommodation. Explore Tangier highlights before driving through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains. Enjoy scenic stops along the way before arriving in Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of the north. Wander through the blue painted medina filled with artisan shops, Spanish influenced architecture, rooftop cafes, and relaxing squares. Overnight stay in a charming riad.

Day 2Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and drive through the Rif region toward Volubilis. Visit the impressive Roman ruins, one of Morocco’s most important archaeological sites. Continue to Meknes to explore Bab Mansour, the medina walls, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, travel onward to Fes where you will spend the night.

day 3Fes Guided City Tour

Enjoy a full guided tour of Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. Visit the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish Mellah, Al Qaraouine University, ancient madrasas, traditional tanneries, souks, and historic mosques. After lunch, explore local cooperatives and end the day with a panoramic view over the medina. Overnight in Fes.

day 4Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Depart Fes toward the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane and the cedar forest near Azrou to see Barbary apes. Continue through the Tiz Ntalghamt Pass and Ziz Gorge, stopping for photos and mint tea. Arrive in Merzouga where you ride camels into the Sahara Desert to reach your desert camp. Enjoy dinner, Berber music, and a night under the stars.

day 5Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorges

Wake early to admire the desert sunrise. After breakfast, travel through Berber villages toward Todra Gorge and Dades Valley. Explore the impressive canyon landscapes and scenic valleys. Arrive in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay at a local hotel.

Day 6 Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
