3 Hours Before Flight Time
Your 10 Days Holiday in Morocco from Tangier begins with a pickup from the airport port or your accommodation in Tangier. Known as the Bride of the North Tangier sits at the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
You will first explore Cape Spartel where the two seas meet followed by a visit to the legendary Hercules Cave. After free time for lunch the journey continues inland through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains with scenic panoramic stops along the way.
By afternoon you arrive in Chefchaouen the famous blue city. Check in to a traditional riad and enjoy a relaxing evening in this peaceful mountain town. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast enjoy a guided walking tour of Chefchaouen also called Achaoun meaning horns in the Berber language. Nestled in the Rif Mountains this town is known for its white and blue painted houses narrow alleys and artistic atmosphere.
Stroll through the old medina admire traditional doors colorful walls and local handicrafts. You will have free time for lunch in the main square surrounded by cafes and local restaurants.
In the afternoon hike up to the Spanish Mosque located on a hill overlooking the city offering a panoramic view of the entire blue town and surrounding mountains. Return to your riad for overnight stay in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast enjoy some final moments wandering through Chefchaouen before departing toward Volubilis. This well preserved Roman archaeological site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its mosaics arches and ancient columns.
Continue to Meknes one of Moroccos imperial cities. Here you will visit Bab El Mansour Sahrij Souani basin the Royal Stables granaries and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After lunch drive to Fes where you check in to your riad for overnight stay.
Today is dedicated to discovering Fes the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. After breakfast you start with a panoramic driving tour including the Royal Palace Gate the historic Jewish Quarter known as the Mellah and a scenic viewpoint from Borj Sud overlooking the old medina.
You will also visit the Ceramic Village where traditional Moroccan tile work is still produced by hand.
Next begins a guided walking tour inside the UNESCO listed medina of Fes El Bali. Highlights include Al Attarine Madrasa the University and Mosque of Al Quaraouiyine considered the oldest university in the world and the famous Chouara Tanneries where leather is dyed using traditional methods.
After the tour return to your riad to relax and enjoy the evening in Fes.
After breakfast the journey continues south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. The first stop is Ifrane known as the Switzerland of Morocco with its alpine architecture and clean streets.
Continue to the Cedar Forest home to wild Barbary macaques. After that drive to Midelt for lunch then cross the Tizi n Talghamt Pass and follow the scenic Ziz Valley filled with palm groves and fortified villages.
By afternoon arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Switch from vehicle to camels and ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi stopping on a high dune to watch the sunset.
Arrive at your desert camp where you enjoy dinner Berber music around the campfire and a magical night under the stars. Overnight in the desert camp.
After breakfast spend the day discovering the Merzouga region. Travel by 4×4 across dunes seasonal lakes fossil areas and palm groves. Visit an old kohl mine and meet nomad families in their traditional tents sharing tea and learning about desert life.

Drive through palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad before arriving at Todra Gorges where towering canyon walls rise dramatically on both sides. Enjoy free time to walk through the gorge and have lunch.
In the afternoon continue to the Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades stopping at the Monkey Fingers rock formations and a panoramic viewpoint over the valley. Dinner and overnight in a riad in Dades Valley.

Experience the lively atmosphere of Jamaa El Fna Square and admire the Koutoubia Mosque from outside. Free time for lunch.
In the afternoon visit the Majorelle Garden with pre booked tickets then drive through Gueliz the modern district of Marrakech before returning to your riad.
After breakfast you will be transferred from Marrakech to Casablanca depending on your flight schedule. If time allows visit the Hassan II Mosque one of the largest mosques in the world.
