Marrrakech
3 Hours Before Flight Time
Your private tour begins with a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains, making a stop in the charming village of Ifrane. Here, you can explore the famous cedar forest, home to the playful Barbary apes. The journey continues through the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and along the stunning Ziz Gorge, where you can pause for photographs and enjoy a refreshing glass of local mint tea. We’ll then drive to Midelt before heading to Merzouga. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at a local Riad.
Today is dedicated to discovering the magical Erg Chebbi dunes. You will explore the desert and observe the traditional nomadic lifestyle of the region. A visit to the black village of Khamlia lets you enjoy the vibrant music of the Gnawa people. Lunch is served in the ancient capital of Rissani with a traditional Berber pizza. In the late afternoon, we embark on a camel trek to the desert camp, where you can watch a breathtaking sunset over the dunes. Dinner is a traditional Tagine, accompanied by mint tea and Berber music around the campfire under the Sahara Desert stars.
After breakfast at a local hotel, we head towards Ouarzazate. Along the way, we stop at traditional Berber villages and marvel at the Todra and Dades Gorges. The day concludes at a local hotel in Dades Gorge, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary dinner and overnight stay.
Following breakfast, we continue the journey to Ouarzazate along the famous route of a thousand Kasbahs. We stop at Kalaat Mgouna in the Valley of Roses, renowned for its rose production and annual Rose Festival. Overnight accommodation is arranged at a local hotel in Ouarzazate.
We visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a striking Ksar known for its cinematic history in movies like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, as well as the Game of Thrones series. The journey continues across the scenic Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass to Marrakech, where we stay overnight in a local hotel.
The final day is spent exploring Marrakech. Highlights include the lively Jemma el Fna square, Koutoubia Mosque, the souks, the Royal Palace, and selected museums. We also explore the modern district of Gueliz, including the Menara Gardens and Majorelle Garden, before concluding the tour at your hotel or the airport.
