Marrrakech
3 Hours Before Flight Time
Your 8 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech begins with a warm welcome at Tangier airport port or hotel. After meeting your local driver guide you travel through the scenic Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen.
Chefchaouen is nestled in the mountains and famous for its blue painted streets and relaxed atmosphere. After arrival check in to your riad or hotel and enjoy free time to wander through the medina browse local markets and relax in cafes. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
After breakfast leave Chefchaouen and travel through the Rif countryside toward Volubilis. Explore the remarkably preserved Roman ruins with mosaics arches and ancient roads offering insight into Roman life in North Africa.
Continue to Meknes one of Morocco imperial cities. Visit Bab El Mansour the medina walls and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After lunch continue to Fes where you check in to a traditional riad for overnight stay.
Today is dedicated to discovering Fes the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Your guided tour starts with panoramic views of the city followed by a visit to the Royal Palace gates and the historic Jewish Quarter Mellah.
Walk through the UNESCO listed Fes Medina visiting Al Quaraouiyine University Al Attarine Madrasa Nejjarine Fountain and the famous Chouara Tanneries. The tour ends with a panoramic viewpoint over the medina before returning to your riad.
After breakfast depart Fes heading south toward the Sahara. Stop in Ifrane known as the Switzerland of Morocco for its alpine style architecture. Continue through the Middle Atlas cedar forests where Barbary monkeys live freely.
After lunch continue through the Ziz Valley famous for its palm groves and scenic viewpoints. Arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon and begin a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Stop on a high dune to watch the sunset before reaching your luxury desert camp.

Wake early to watch sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. Explore the surrounding desert region including the village of Khamlia known for Gnawa music.
Visit Mfis an old mining village and meet a nomadic family in their traditional tent while sharing mint tea. After lunch relax at a riad with swimming pool. Optional quad biking or buggy driving is available in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.
After breakfast leave Merzouga and visit the market town of Rissani if the market day coincides. Continue toward Todra Gorge where towering canyon walls create one of the most impressive natural landscapes in Morocco.
After free time and lunch drive to the Dades Valley stopping at the Monkey Fingers rock formations and panoramic viewpoints. Dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad in the Dades Valley.
Travel through the Valley of Roses and palm groves toward Ouarzazate. Visit Atlas Film Studios then continue to Ait Ben Haddou UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah famous for movies and series including Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
After lunch cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n Tichka Pass enjoying spectacular mountain scenery. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and check in to your riad. Overnight in Marrakech.
After breakfast enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech visiting Jemaa El Fna Square Bahia Palace Saadian Tombs Ben Youssef Madrasa and the Koutoubia Mosque exterior.
