3 Hours Before Flight Time
Your 5-day tour from Fes to Marrakech begins with a drive from Fes to Merzouga. On your way, you will pass through many small towns and villages, where you can see the local way of life and traditional architecture. You will also cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Your first destination will be Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”, with its European-style architecture and cool climate. After that, you will continue to Midelt, a small town famous for its apple orchards. You will then drive through the Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves, and arrive at Merzouga, where you will spend the night.
On the second day of your tour, you will have a full-day excursion to explore the desert surrounding Merzouga. You will start by visiting the Khamlia village, where you can experience the Gnawa music and dance. Then, you will have a chance to explore the desert by camel ride, which will take you to the top of the highest dune in the Erg Chebbi desert. Here, you can watch the stunning sunset and enjoy the silence and solitude of the desert. In the evening, you will return to your camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night under the stars.
On the third day of your tour, you will leave Merzouga and head to Dades. You will pass through many small Berber villages and see the local way of life. Finally, you will arrive in Marrakech, where your tour will end.
