3 Hours Before Flight Time
On the first day of your 8-day tour, you will depart from Casablanca and head towards Chefchaouen, a picturesque blue-painted town in the Rif Mountains. Along the way, you can stop and visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the holy city of Moulay Idriss. You will also have the opportunity to explore the charming town of Chefchaouen, stroll through the narrow blue streets, and visit the central square, Plaza Uta el-Hammam.
On the second day of your tour, you will leave Chefchaouen and head towards Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest and most fascinating imperial cities. Along the way, you can stop at the ancient city of Meknes, where you can explore the Bab Mansour gate, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the Heri es-Souani granaries. Once in Fes, you will be able to explore the UNESCO-listed old medina, the world’s largest car-free urban area, and visit its many historical monuments, such as the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Dar Batha Museum.
On the third day of your tour, you will have a full day to explore Fes further. You can visit the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter, the tanneries, and the artisanal workshops where local artisans create beautiful handicrafts. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner in one of the many local restaurants.
On the fourth day of your tour, you will leave Fes and head towards Midelt, a small town situated in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will pass through the cedar forests of Azrou and have the opportunity to see the friendly Barbary macaques that live there. Once in Midelt, you can explore the town’s lush greenery and enjoy the local cuisine.
On the fifth day of your tour, you will leave Midelt and head towards Merzouga, a small village on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Along the way, you will cross the stunning Ziz Valley and visit the fortified city of Rissani. Once in Merzouga, you can relax in your hotel, take a dip in the pool, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the sand dunes.
On the sixth day of your tour, you will explore the stunning Sahara Desert on a guided tour. You can take a camel ride to the top of the sand dunes and watch the sunset over the horizon, before returning to your hotel for a traditional Berber dinner and entertainment around the campfire.
On the seventh day of your tour, you will leave Merzouga and head towards Dades, a town situated in the Dades Valley. On the final day of your tour, you will leave Dades and head towards Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities. Along the way, you can visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a traditional mud-brick village that has been used as a filming location for many movies, Before reaching Marrakech, you will also pass through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Once in Marrakech, you can explore the bustling markets of the old medina, visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, and relax in the beautiful gardens of the Bahia Palace. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner at one of the many local restaurants and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
