Your 7-day tour begins with a drive from Casablanca to Fes, a historic city known for its rich cultural heritage and bustling medina. Upon arrival in Fes, you will check in to your hotel and have some free time to explore the city on your own.
Today, you will have a full day to discover the many attractions of Fes, one of the most well-preserved medieval cities in the world. You will visit the old medina, a maze-like network of narrow alleys and bustling souks that are home to countless artisan workshops, food stalls, and traditional shops. You will also explore the famous Bou Inania Madrasa, the Kairaouine Mosque, and the Royal Palace. In the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner and rest.
In the morning, you will head south towards the Sahara desert, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and passing through the scenic Ziz Valley. Your destination is the small desert town of Merzouga, located on the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Upon arrival, you will check in to your desert camp and have some free time to relax or explore the surrounding area.
